Schedule 5

Schedule 5 reports certain non-refundable credits related to dependants.

To open Schedule 5, double-click on the form named "S5 - Dependants" in the Form Manager.

The Schedule will gather the necessary information from the Dependant form.

Note: Schedule 5 will only display claims for the first applicable dependant. If multiple dependants qualify for the same claim, e.g. infirm dependant, additional claims will appear in the Dependant Summary form.

To open the Dependant Summary, double-click on the form named "Dependant Summary" in the Form Manager.

If any portion of the claim for infirm dependant or caregiver is being claimed by someone else, such as a spouse, indicate the amount in the field provided.

Note: Dependants will only appear in Schedule 5/Dependant Summary if there are claims being made on lines 305, 306, 315, or 331 of Schedule 1. Claims from any other lines will not be reported here.

Reporting Information

The results flow to the appropriate lines in Schedule 1.
