Child Care Expenses Worksheet

The child care expenses worksheet records your itemized child care expenses. The results of this worksheet flow into the T778 form and from there to the T1 General.

To view the Child Care Expenses Worksheet, double-click on the form named "Child Care Expenses" in the Form Manager.

Reporting Child Care Expenses

Note: Use of this form relies upon dependant information already reported on the Dependant Worksheet as a pre-requisite.

First, use the drop-down selector to choose the dependant for whom you are claiming expenses

Then enter appropriate details regarding the expense being claimed. Note that some expenses have a limit of the amount that can be claimed.

You can add and remove additional instances of this form to report additional expenses as necessary using the "Add Instance" and "Remove Instance" buttons just above the form.
